A Personal Note on Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Equity

At GrowthShifters, inclusion is the foundation of everything we do, and for me, it’s personal.

Breaking free from extremist ideology in my early adulthood shaped not just who I am, but how I lead. It taught me that language and belonging can be weaponized—or they can be powerful tools for healing, growth, and collective transformation.

That’s why I created GrowthShifters: to help shift perspectives, foster connection, and build a world where everyone feels safe showing up as their full selves. I strive to lead this company with intention by embedding equity and compassion into every part of how we work. That includes how we design client experiences, how we collaborate with service providers, and how we show up as a business in the wider world.

I believe corporate leadership has a responsibility to model what healthy, inclusive community looks like. It’s about asking better questions, listening deeply, and learning out loud. 

Inspired by Brene Brown’s call to "courageously belong," I’ve committed myself to creating spaces where people are valued not in spite of their differences, but because of them.

Here’s what that looks like at GrowthShifters:
